2015 ESSAY COMPETITION FOR PUBLIC SENIOR SECONDARY SCHOOL STUDENTS IN NIGERIA.
Our annual essay competition for students of Public Senior Secondary Schools in Nigeria is here again!!! In line with our vision and ‘The EMEDITH Project’- We will, again this year, be providing cash awards to three (3) public Senior Secondary School students who will distinguish themselves in the essay writing competition. Entries will be received from students of Public Senior Secondary Schools in Nigeria.
GUIDELINES FOR THE ESSAY COMPETITION
TOPIC: “Expectations of and challenges to the current administration” 800-1000 words.
MODE AND DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSION: Be informed that the essays should be sent as an attachment to firstname.lastname@example.org and the subject of the email should read “The 2015 EMEDITH Essay competition” The students should send in their typed essays in Microsoft Word format via email from Monday 22nd June 2015 till 5pm on Tuesday, 30th July, 2015.
PARTICIPANTS: The competition is open to all senior secondary school students of public schools in Nigeria. The students are advised to put their names in full, date of birth, class, school, contact address and phone number(s) at the beginning of their essays. A failure to include these details will amount to a disqualification.
WINNERS AND AWARDS: The positions of the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners will be carefully selected by the panel of judges and the cash prizes are N50,000.00, N35,000.00 and N15,000.00 respectively. The awards and cash prizes will be delivered to the winners at our office premises on a date to be communicated to the winning students and schools that produce the winners. Certificates will also be presented to the schools that produce the winners.
It is our conviction that this competition will be of optimum benefit to the school and students as the winners will not only bring recognition to the school but also to themselves, their parents and guardians. Students hurry and do not be left out!!! Remember to comply with the guidelines for the essay.
